InferCabulary has two Play Settings for students to enhance their vocabulary experience.
Feature 1: Remove time limit for scramble climbs
In the Climb mode (quiz mode), students will occasionally encounter a time mode when "scrambling" up the mountain. If you would like to turn off the time limit, follow these instructions:
1) Login to InferCabulary
2) Select the student from your Dashboard
3) Expand their account by clicking on Expand user details
4) Click on the box in front of Remove time limit for scramble climbs
Feature 2: Require viewing all image captions in climb mode
If your student or child is continually being sent back to Base Camp or the Medical Tent from the Climb mode (quiz mode), they may be impulsively clicking through all of the words without stopping to examine all of the pictures and words. Here is how you adjust the Play Setting to require them to view all of the images in Climb Mode:
1) Login to InferCabulary
2) Select the student from your Dashboard
3) Expand their account by clicking on Expand user details
4) Choose Require viewing all images in climb mode by clicking on the box in front
This will require students to slow down and click on each image, listen to the caption, and then choose a word in the Climb mode.
